Open Labs at Microsoft Inspire 2017
Open Labs’ Chris Brown and Travis Gallagher traveled to Washington DC to showcase Stagelight EDU at Microsoft Inspire, one of Microsoft’s largest partner events where thousands of innovators go to network, learn and collaborate.
With Travis performing dozens of demos throughout the three day event, plenty of guests got a taste of what Stagelight EDU is all about. “Inspire was an amazing experience,” says Travis about the event. “Meeting Microsoft, networking with all their partners and showcasing Stagelight EDU was all very exciting. Definitely a huge success for Open Labs.”
Other attendees at Inspire took to Stagelight’s accessible yet robust features, and local DC students even got to take a class on how to make beats on the software. After a short competition for “best beat”, Students each received a free copy of Stagelight EDU.
Chris served as a DJ and featured speaker, addressing hundreds of attendees while showcasing Stagelight’s in-app lessons and how they can be a powerful tool for education. “The new EDU features in Stagelight provided a great experience for Microsoft partners, education providers and students,” says Chris. “My favorite event was the beat making contest! It’s great to see young people engaged and being creative with our app.”
Open Labs could not be more pleased with how the event turned out, and can’t wait to grow in our partnership with Microsoft.
